Animation

Animation is from Latin word which mean animate or to breathe life into. It is visual art which makes a motion picture from a series of still drawings. Computer animation uses computer hardware and software to make the animation development easy, fast and executable by a lesser amount of skilled and less creators. There was used to be a clear divisions among cartoon and feature film animation, visual effects, gaming software, 3-D animation and gif animation so these are the related forms of animation now often overlap. In 20th century the animation was still controlled by a computerized film and video technology even the creative figure drawing skills and the graphic artists was still a basic part of the process.

Types of animation:

Animations has many different types, some are animated full length films which are cartooned like snow white, Shrek and etc. some of the films are both animated and human characters which is Lord of the rings, TV series like Tom and Jerry etc. some have specific animations for TV and video commercials. Animation is developing as both forms art and commercial product which has led its growing significance as a study subject.

Animation techniques:

There are two techniques of animation which is basic and they are key framing and inbetweening. Key frame is from key moments of still frames in animation order. Key frame is a moment in the sequence of animation, its parameter, timeline and characteristics. In the traditional pencil drawings these would be key frame drawings in types of animation like puppet or Claymation animation so these will be a key postures. If the key frames are recognized then the sequence of animations between these key frames have to be complete. The technique is called in-betweening because it involves the creating of the frames which fills the gap between the key frames. Interpolation is a technique in the computer environment which have numerous varieties. The key frame of interpolation provides the frames which are compulsory but what has to be done it totally depends on the interpolation kinds which are used such as linear or curved. Linear interpolation delivers the frames equally spaced between the key frames which is based on average of the parameters of the key frames and employing on a constant speed. The second interpolation is curved which is more sophisticated and it can accommodate changes in speed.

Mainstream media in Pakistan

What is a mainstream media?

It is a collective journalistic object that delivers both information and news to a huge number of audience. The only difference with alternative media, which reaches a much lesser and sometimes more detailed audience. Some people mention it as “mass media” referencing the idea that it reaches the common people and it sometimes seen written as MSM. This is the way how maximum number of people all over the world get the bulk of their news.

Mainstream media in Pakistan:

These days the mainstream of Pakistan media is under the growing influence of social media and there is a change which is being observed. Just because of the change the powerful social media is successfully rooting itself in the mainstream media of the country.

The example of this is that the cancellation of a show which was religious by the recently launched Hero TV of the Express Media Group of Pakistan.

Media Matters for Pakistan is a web based creativity which was designed to act as an informal watchdog over the mainstream media in Pakistan.

This stage objects to highlight concerns of ethics and ideology in the mainstream media content. We all target the aim to develop a counter description to the extremely right-wing, moral policing based programming that has taken the hold of the media.

The initiative aims to observe the mainstream media, mostly the broadcast media and statement on examples that are of particular interest. The website will also feature more broad research on media content in both print and electronic media, therefore to create an understanding of the emerging trends in the media.

We all pursue the access the stories and the production procedures which are used by the mainstream media in Pakistan, both to initiate a continued commentary and to document the emerging trends in the industry. In the start this website will be a detailing, archiving and observing upon media content that definitely calls devotion to itself. The scheme will look at the media content to classify preferred and ignored themes in the media, recognise editorial policy alterations across different platforms and in particular identify problems of professionalism. The project will look at the gaps that be in the coverage and comments on areas that involve further devotion from the media.
